Taxation and Domestic Revenue Mobilization (TDRM)

Taxation plays a central role in defining the state, its capacity to spend and shape economic and social development. This course covers key topics in tax policy design and implementation. It mixes basic principles in tax design and implementation, with some practical and topical issues, such as how tax gaps can be used to shape policy and administration reforms, and how the legal framework of a tax system should be designed to ensure maximum transparency and clarity.
